I had been looking for something that could help strengthen my joints and body after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I attend classes every week, and each time we learn something new and different. It is a great place to build balance, breath, body, and spirit. It is much more structured and professional than something you might find at a rec center, so you will see your skills develop in real time. I’m so happy I joined and I love what I can do now with my body. I’ve become stronger and more balanced than I’ve ever been.Posted on Google Sandy BardaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been a member of this school for 1 month and I have had a wonderful experience. The classes get me moving and also help me to relax. Learning the movements is a mentally rewarding experience. It feels good when you memorize the steps and can perform the movements. The classes are challenging and interesting. I have made some new friends .Posted on Google Chris GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took a free class, the place was dirty and amateur at best, The person wouldn't stop talking about a movie he said he was in for 30-40 years ago.Posted on Google Lemon SalsaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tai Chi is not what I was expecting. This is one of those things you should really try before you dismiss it.Posted on Google LamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Check out Chi Life!Posted on Google David SpruntTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a great tai chi school. I have taken tai chi classes off and on since I started learning martial arts in Cleveland in 1994, as my work took me around the country. I joined Chi Life in April 2024. Master Christophe Clark is truly a master of instruction and this is the best school I have attended. Clark fosters a community of practice. The lessons incorporate time for participants to get to know each other and build friendships over tea, and occasional potluck meals. Unlike some schools, Clark shows and emphasizes the martial aspects of the practice- how the many specific moves are combinations of blocks and strikes. This helps develop an understanding of intent and direction of energy, which I really appreciate. It’s not just going through the motions. The practice of tai chi is challenging (in a good way), both mentally and physically. The precise and complicated coordination of moment, position, balance, breathing and intention develop over time through repetition, and under the watchful eyes and helpful instruction of Clark and his student/instructors. Some of these senior student/instructors have been with him for decades. Learning these challenging movements provides a sense of accomplishment, as well as improving fitness. Longevity = community ➕ movement If you’re looking for or considering joining a community of caring and dedicated tai chi practitioners, are willing to learn and seek to improve your concentration, balance, strength and coordination, I strongly encourage you to join our community - at least come by, meet Master Clark and see for yourself. My only regret is that I waited so long to check it out.Posted on Google Ryan PhilipsbornTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a great school. It is communal and welcomes practitioners of all skill levels, demographics and abilities. Master Clark is a world champion yet conducts his lessons humbly from the heart with a dedication to unification, inclusiveness and self worth. He brings a nice balance of exercise, philosophy and variety to each class and develops the school's capabilities as a whole while ensuring students receive personalized training.Posted on Google Sarah StoverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been coming to Chi Life for about 2 months and was immediately welcomed with open arms. I came to tai chi for the gentle movement I have read is good for your body, mind, and spirit and stayed for that plus the beautiful community of people here. Master Clarke has created a place for serious study of an ancient art along with lightheartedness, non-judgment, and support. I also love the diversity of the members. Anyone from a person in their 70s maintaining their health to a competitive martial artist is in the room. All are welcome and valued here.
